Awesome shot!
I've got a question, though. In part (b), you converted the RAW to JPG format. Doesn't that cause a loss of image data?

Ivan, i think you are right, but i find that if i use Nebulosity S/W to convert RAW to color then it looks less bright, seems to incur more lost, may i know how to overcome this ? Do you use a different S/W for stacking that does it quite well for 1 shot color ? Thanks. I learn AP without much guide, so the method used is definitely not optimized, any one can render some help or advice please ?

I personally haven't used Nebulosity before, so I'm not too sure about that. I use DSS, and I convert my RAW subs (in Canon CR2 format) to 16 bit tiff before stacking. I'm pretty much an AP beginner though, so I've only done this a couple of times.PETER LOO wrote:Ivan, i think you are right, but i find that if i use Nebulosity S/W to convert RAW to color then it looks less bright, seems to incur more lost, may i know how to overcome this ?
