Dragon Growing on the Sun

Hi,

There are interesting developments on the Sun tough it may be a quiet solar maxima.

Yesterday (28 Sep 13), we saw a big filament (about 22 times the diameter of Earth) moving across the Sun.

Today (29 Sep 13), we saw it morphed into a large dragon.

wow.. how does the lizard looks like from the side view? it is a super large prominence? or a huge loop?

Came across this during searching, that long filament has ruptured , from the video at 0:48sec - Sep 29th 21:44 UT , local time 05:44 am this morning.
