Hi,
Today weather (base on weather forecast and satellite map) seem quite promising, so I plan to have a short observation session tonight (03 August 2004) at around 20:30 on top of the multi-storey car park(Blk 842A) beside Blk 842E. Anyone who are interested can join me.
Hope the weather is good tonight
Have a nice day.

hi weixing mmm :?
no such luck. when I left my office at 9.15 pm, I could see Vega, Altair ,Sagi and Scorpius clearly. I even thought I could make out the faint outline of the milky way...! But as I reached home..all of a sudden, the whole sky was covered in cirro cumulus clouds..oh well, let's hope the super long weekend we have this week will bear fruit in clear skies..

Hi,
The weather on yesterday night was quite clear from 8pm till 10pm... only got some cloud which come and go until around 10:30pm where a big patch of cover cover the whole sky. Anyway, the seeing and transparency was also quite good.
Lagoon Nebula(M8 ) and Swan Nebula(M17) was quite obvious. So was using M17 to show Luke5v8 the effect of magnification and filter on Nebula.
Anyway, was quite happy with the sky yesterday and hope tonight will be better.
Have a nice day.
