Hi guys,
after NDP2004, I will be observing at the open field opposite the mosque at Tampines Stadium, hmmm..... the weather seems promising. :wink: :lol: 8)

Yesterday was fine weather but haizzz...... too much high alt clouds. But any way managed to observe moon n venus tis morning.

1) Venus phase was half and was clearly seen at 60x. Hmmm..... the view of venus in the MAK is totally different, it was bigger compared to the etx60, n the disc has 'grown' by many arc seconds. :wink: 8)

2) Moon was at waning phase. At 150x, comparing to the moon map, I spotted a fill major crater, Clavius, Tycho, Kelper, Copernicus, Plato. Copernicus and Kelper is the most obvious as the crater which is white contrast with the grey 'mares' surrounding it. :wink: :lol:
