IC405 - Flaming Star Nebula

Post by orly_andico »

First light for 2014. Only 28 x 1 minute, unguided, f/3. 7nm H-a filter.

Image

Stars still are oblong, Feathertouch focuser notwithstanding. I am beginning to suspect tilt in my Gerd Neumann filter drawer, because the elongation does not change when I rotate the camera and corrector.
