Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!
I have no experience with this product and how good or bad it is but from the pic and description, it does look strikingly similar.
Still, just in case anyone is interested
But base on the photos alone, the Milky Way seems to be missing. Looks like an imitation of the original Gakken Home Planetarium. Quite happy with the quality and snug fit of the components while fixing my Gakken.
"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."
-- John Dobson.
The cost price is $3.61 Singapore dollars only , with more options ... +brightness +constellation lines @ $4.23 ...... red, yellow , blue bulb version @ $5.80
This seems to be similar to the earlier version of the Gakken Mook planetarium (see viewtopic.php?f=24&t=12730&hilit=gakken&start=10). One major con of this version IMO is that the constellation lines are drawn in.
p/s:
I shifted this thread from the Coffee Corner to Equipment discussion.
