My new video explaining the distance from the Sun to Earth.

Hi everyone.
It has been a long time since I posted here, great to be back. I've just finished my O Levels and now in my break before going to tertiary education.

But today, I'm here to showcase a video that I made during my free time. Besides loving astronomy, I also have an interest in video production.



It's a slow but calming video showing just how vast distances in space are. In this case, it's the distance between the Sun and Earth. I really hope to make more entertaining and engaging videos of astronomy in the near future! And it'll help if you could subscribe to my youtube channel!

Thanks! I did this using Adobe After Effects. I created the sun and earth models within the software.

Darn, you're quite the hacker lol. Can we assume that the running numbers of distance at the bottom is quite accurate/what happens in reality?

Yes. I specifically made and tweaked it so that it is as accurate as possible.
It is actually the hardest part of making the video, getting it to be accurate.
