That's wat I tot too, but credit must be due to both of them as it is not easy for them to sweat it out for Singapore's glory and I highly praise them for it (not a single moment I do not appreicate their affort), but wat I do not agree is the way the media put it out across to the public. Afterall, doesn't money speaks at the end of the day? If singapore were to invest huge amount in hiring over top overseas sportmens to represent singapore, does singapore has any geniune pride as the way the media put it across?fizzy123 wrote:Come on people, lets not over react, Olympic itself at the end of the day is just merely another cheap gimmick. Olympics, no longer just purely a competition for the love of sports, but sadly one that has a huge mixture of politics, commercial interest and show-manship. Thus, whether Singapore wins a medal or not in tis pseudo- sporting event is not important. :idea:Singapore as a country tat always want to wayang and boast about everything will definitely go around hunting for talents.
