Here’s an exciting event that is here once again! Remember the SINGASTRO Equipment Festivals of the year 2002 and 2006? We will have one (it’s been 9 years!) in TWO WEEKS time! Yes! EF2015 is here!
If you have astronomy equipment to let go, sell, donate, etc, please bring them all to the event! Otherwise, nevermind if you have nothing to sell, come and buy them! That year-end bonus has to go somewhere!
Or, even better, come and mingle around, chat with the people, drool at the equipment on display, et al. It will be a great social activity to make new friends, catch up with old ones, in the local astronomy community! And if you are keen to volunteer some refreshments, feel free to let us know too! Nevertheless last but not least, we will need to thank Kelvin Ng (catalysm) for making this event possible!

Venue: Queens Condominium (Clubhouse Function Room, it is by the pool side)
Date: 29th November 2015 (Sunday)
Time: 10AM to 2PM (but better come early if you wanna grab the best deals!)

Admission: Free!!! But please reply in this thread or PM to indicate you are coming, so that we can anticipate the numbers.
How to Get There: Best is to come via public transport - MRT. Stop at Queenstown MRT and you can just walk to the condominium, which is just beside the MRT! Otherwise please contact Kelvin Ng at nine7three19five24. If you cannot get Kelvin on that day, you can also try to contact me, or Gavin (starfinder). Thanks and SEE YOU THERE!
Update: You are also welcome to set up your solar scopes next to the pool. Solar gazing!
Cautionary Note:: This event's MAIN PURPOSE is to provide an opportunity for socializing within the local astronomy community and viewing of astronomy equipment. Technically, NO CASH TRANSACTIONS are allowed. So it is highly advisable if u are keen on any item, please do the transaction DISCREETLY with the buyer (or through ibanking, atm transfer, or outside the premises at prearranged times, etc).
For sellers and buyers: We will be using 8mm-diameter silver circular stickers to indicate items on sale. There will then be a way for buyers to spot which items are genuinely on sale, and which ones aren't. For sellers, please collect these stickers from me on that day.
26th November Update: There will be an opportune group photo taking session towards the end of EF2015. Will hope that everyone continue to stay on for the photo taking session if u can!
