Hi all,
Here's sharing an image of the ol' faithful M42, imaged in hydrogen alpha light a couple of nights back from Gardens by the Bay (East). This was imaged using a 60mm refractor (FS60), and has a total integration of 2 hours.
And here's a tighter crop for a better look at the nebula:
I hope to be able to gather more data on this object from dark skies in order to generate a full colour image. But for now, this will be all.
Thanks for looking!

Good shot!! I'm sure mono + Ha is addictive. Think u will never go back to one shot colour DSLR after this
Re: M42 in HA from Singapore
Thanks Chee Guan. Indeed it is! That said, nothing beats the convenience of a DSLR, though. That is when I want a fuss-free portable setup for widefield. But for anything else, I am hooked to mono!
