Thanks for the link - 24mm TAL eyepiece sounds interesting. Will check it out.
Why do you prefer the Konig over the 1 rpd when the latter is cheaper?

recommended 2" eyepieces to use with f/15 scope
Hi Debash, a new 2" 30mm WSIII is only US$151.00 if you order directly from Kokusai Kohki (just email the owner, Barry Gooley, to order). Shipping to Singapore will be another US$20.00Widescan III costs much higher (30 mm 2" normal price US$ 245+shipping) for similar performance, at least the FOV is bigger (84*).
Hope this helps. Cheers
Chris, a used 24mm TAL UWA is around US$160.00+sh, PM me if you want to know the lobang.

Konig is a recommended design (fewer lenses) for MCTs, especially for my MK-67 scope, UO quality is well known and saw good reviews of it - these were the main factors. But to be honest, I'm biased towards Japanese made eyepieces rather than the Chinese made ones for consistent quality. Why do you prefer the Konig over the 1 rpd when the latter is cheaper?
Thanks, Arief for WIII price. I got it from Helix's site.

Chris, I ordered through Sam (Harlequin Astro) finally, but I did check with Helix, ITE Astronomy, Clearvue Optics and University Optics as well. No one had it in stock. I waited for about 2 months. Finally when UO produced it, Sam placed the order for one piece for me. Had to wait for a long time, which was not a problem since skies have rarely been clear on the weekends for a decent viewing. You can check with all of them as well, you can use Paypal for Clearvue. It took about 8 days from order placement to reach here, it takes maximum 10 days.

Paypal account is easy to set up, it doesn't cost anything if you are making payment using credit card (will cost the receiver of funds some fees, sometimes they do absorb that fee) up to a certain amount. So you might consider setting up a Paypal account, you just need an email address - Yahoo account will also do.
I used the 1rpd on deep sky only, so the issue was with clusters. This is my personal experience with my scope. You might want to test drive either Kayheem's or Sam's 1rpd on your scope.
