Hi All!

I am currently building a 60mm F/15 refractor with optics from China. Due to some shipping issues, the tube I ordered from China is not allowed to be shipped to singapore. Does anyone know where can i obtain just one aluminium pipe for the project?

I've had hardware ship from Japan through monotaro. Have you looked there? I've had an awful time trying to get tubes for various projects. I often end up with trusses as a result.

Actually for a 60mm objective you may be able to get cardboard tubes and infuse it with epoxy resin.

I had managed to find a supplier of 63.5mm diameter aluminium tubes for construction. Will work with those then! For those who wants extra tubing from me just let me know hahaha, I should have like 5m worth of tubing after the project....

They also sell it with the lens cell for 140 USD. How did your project go so far?

The aliexpress photo show glued objective , so perhaps expect slightly more edge abberations than air-spaced.
