Is there anyone else who is interested to drive up to Mersing this friday?

There are so many people interested to go, but not enough car space for everyone and their equipment....

cannot one la. i think the biggest that can fit his car with his lx90 would prolly be something like a 3-5" scope. i'm still wondering about the possibility of squeezing in the portaball.

I think maybe if you lessen the load off the curry pot, you can take the back seat and put it on your lap. I will probably try to bring my c8 ota & altazimuth tripod. If there is not enough space, I will put the ota on my lap too.

Hi All,

I was on tour, so I could not reply.

So Far rlow and MooEy has confirmed to join.
I think I can accommodate one more in my car.

I Plan to start from WTC (Sia Im carpark) between 1400 and 1430 on Friday.
If weather is promising I plan to spend two night at Mersing and return back on early hours of Sunday.
I plan to check in a hotel on Saturday morning (Not reserved, but most probably Timotel if there is vacancy) and check out on Saturday evening.

They normally charge 90 RM for a twin sharing room.

I'm tempted to go too..

Would David or Rich like to go up for an impromptu trip as well?
