Is there any reason why that is so? I have no doubts that aperture make a difference, but just curious that as to why that is so. Interesting thing is that I've got a 3" and an 8" ... so is that an excuse to buy both??!! Hee hee

LPR or UHC Filter for our skies?

But I think the O3 and H-Beta filter will not be that suitable for small scope.

A good UHC filter will not reduce much light, but the contrast increase will be a lots more than the light reduce.The UHC is too aggressive for smaller scopes, the image will be too dim.
