Hi Remus,
The Synta Motors are very silent. In my EQ6 Pro it emits only a low whining sound. In My NON GOTO EQ 6 it is so silent that first I thought motors are not turning (Of course , the max speed in old type EQ-6 is only 16 X )

The EQ-6 Pro is very quiet and sounds like the alien aircraft rising when slewing the mount. And Mooey updated the controller software and the GOTO of his polaris mount showed accuracy and consistency. Welcome to the Synta Club.
oo, familar meh anyway, i just got the gears meshed nicely. tracking noise sounds like some ultrasonic sound. slewing is as meng lee has mention, alien aircraft taking off. now i just have to wait for that new ra worm.
