Day 1 of CNY - Solar Eclipse!

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Congrad to Jia Hao.Your solar eclipse picts make it to the front page of spaceweather.com.
On the other hand,my photo is available at-spaceweather.com>spaceweather sighting>eclipse-then click on the pin tag at Singapore.For other photo:

>moon/planet THEN follow the same procedure.These picts will stay for a few days before being replaced by other submission from other parts of the world.Thanks for viewing.

Hi,

(moderator-please do whatever you can to make the photo visible as mine is a 7 yrs old computer and always photo dont show-thanks).
The issue is not cause by the age of your computer since most of us also can't see the image.
Anyway, the best way is to use the Image tag where the link is the http link to your image.
Eg. The tag -> Image
(there should be no space after the Image. The spaces in this example are included deliberately,
so that the tag command will be display instead of the image) will give the below result:
Image

Please note that not all website (such as some blog website) allow you to link this way to the image in their website,
so it's best to use those image hosting website (such as flickr) to host your image for this type of direct link purpose.

Also, please remember to resize your image for web display to make sure the image doesn't span across a few screen
on some user's lower resolution monitor (800 x 600 should be ok for most user) and make sure the image file size isn't too
large... might load very slowly for low bandwidth internet user.

Have a nice day.
