The sky was quite hazy due to high cloud when I arrived there at around 8pm especially the sky around the Moon.
As the time for Sagittarius Lambda to reappear on the illuminated side approach, the sky condition was getting better, but the Moon still look very hazy.
We though we might not be able to see the reappearing of the star due to the sky condition, but Sagittarius Lambda didn't disappoint us
It's suddenly appear on the edge of the Moon... like a pimple suddenly appear on the Moon!

The star was very obvious and look brighter than I expected... very interesting view... my first successfully observed occultation.
We wasn't able to observe the occultation of the globular cluster NGC 6638 as I can't find the globular cluster... may be the sky was too hazy and too near the bright Moon to see it.
Anyway, below are the photos I took of the events:
Tachyon and his Orion ED 100 on Vixen Sphinx EQ mount.

Cataclysm's TeleVue Genesis SDF on Vixen GPD mount

RLow's Astrosky 11" dob

Close up of Airconvent and his Meade 102 MCT on Manfrotto 410

Have a nice day.
