FYI, Barlebach wood tripod is very beautiful and cost-effective indeed.

It is also aimed for astro purposes :)

While on this topic, I didn't know ppl make tripods out of crutches! see here http://www.benjaminsweb.com/TandT/crutch_tripods.htm

Very cost effective with a claimed load of 250lbs! anyone wants to give a try?

Hi @all
very good wooden tripods can be ordered from me, I have the whole Berlebach Tripods - sortiment here.
For astronomy use you can find some informations here http://www.hoo-germany.de/gruppen.php?grp=19

There are availeble tripods for every mount, and for these there are not shown, it is easy to make an adaptation.

Btw. who knows the sizes of a adaption plate from a Tak EM 200 Mount?

Hi Arief

if the sippingweight is lower than 5 kg, the shippincost will be 37 Euro. Up 5 kg to 10 kg it cost 52 Euro. 1 Euro = 1,95079 S$

Hi Robert

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for.
http://pachome1.pacific.net.sg/~audiowo ... dapter.gif
These were the dimensions of EM200 adapter plate i made last year to facilate pier and tripod mounting.

One dimension that slips my mind is the pcd to azimuth peg. Since the mount has been recently polar aligned, I am reluctant to dismantle it down just to find out. However, I could provide an eyeball reading if you want.
