Hi all!
Have opened this thread for any interesting discussion on the upcoming Punggai trip, which from my understanding could be the BIGGEST trip ever made to that location (> 50 people). Feel free to post pictures of the trip here too when back! Looking forward, be it rain or shine!

Hopefully have chance to take pictures of the new E22 highway across the bridge. Will do detailed report of the time taken from woodlands custom till we reach punggai lol.
Pray for clear skies!

Re: Astronomical Expedition in Punggai for Sep 30
Hi guys,
2 days ago we ventured out to Punggai with Carole's and NUS group. I reached there earlier than the rest of the group as Kelvin was driving up, so I hitched a ride and set up first.
We left Tuas checkpoint at 5:55pm and reach punggai thru the new E22 highway.
I took a few pictures and a video along the way.

I was blasting along at blistering speed, and you managed to capture those pics with a camera phone! Incredible!! ![admire [smilie=admire.gif]](./images/smilies/admire.gif)

OK here is one of my photo from Friday night or rather Sat morning. Another familiar, photographed to death target. Had it imaged with my fast 8" Newtonian, but couldn't quite pinned down the flexure issue, hence got oval stars.
Imaged with: AP Mach 1 GTO, Orion UK Newt f/4.5, Modified 350D with cooling, Baader MPCC. 5x8min @ ISO800

@cataclysm - Nice photo! So many stars and nebulosity captured! Stay awake, process and upload more. LOL.
Car speed is not a problem for Android phone and a muscular human steadicam.
@shirox - Love the sunset in mirror shot! Beautifully framed and shot!
