Pleiades, Hyades, Orion, Accompanied Baby Tak

I had a short getaway with my family to the more remote east coast of Bintan Island, away from the usual tourist hotspot of the north shores. I was not expecting favourable weather, just brought along my ultra 'grab-n-go' for just in case. On the 2nd night, I was rewarded with some visual treats when there were brief moments of clear sky. The picture below was pretty close to the sky condition then:

Hi Gary, 40s exposure, taken with Canon 30D, 17-85 EFs @ 17mm, ISO800, f/5.6.

Thanks! Love the deep blue rendering of the sky and the white clouds at the bottom left corner contrasting with the black tripod legs. I wonder if it will also look interesting if the photo is rotated counterclockwise a bit so as to make "T" shape tripod mount pointed directly straight down instead of the current slightly slanted position.

But then again, doing that may cut off the "legs" of Orion or making that gap to the right border too narrow and affect the overall balance.
