Observation Session: 12 June 2004

Post by weixing »

Hi,
Tonight (12 June 2004), we will be observing at the site that JohnTeh recommend in Changi. The site is quite remote and can only access by vehicle, so it may not possible for us to take a lots of people (only two car is confirm available). For those who drive, it will not be a problem. For those who don't drive, please come together with someone who is driving.

Anyway, we will meet at the bus stop near Tampines SAFRA at around 20:30... then we will move off together to the site. Those interested please PM me and give me your contact number... in case any change of plan.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Hi,
I'm not sure where exactly the place is... I don't drive and only a passenger... :) Anyway, the entry to the place is a small road beside a main road beside Changi Airport. I think that area will be the future runway 3. You can contact JohnTeh for detail direction.

By the way, the entrance got some sort of barrier that will limit the height of the vehicle going through... should have no problem for most car, but Van or any vehicle larger may not be able to enter.

Have a nice day.

No streetlights, and no bus services. Encountered a pack of aggressive wild dogs there before, so do be careful.

clear skies!

no. the portion where changi naval base is located is an land extension towards east. the one John is talking about is along the edge of the airport.
