Saturn Opposition @ River Plains Bishan Park -- 14 Apr 2012

Hi Friends,

Weather permitting, we intend to have a Saturn Opposition gathering this coming saturday.

Date: Saturday 14 Apr 2012
Time: 8:00 pm onwards

All are welcomed with or without scopes! Do bring your family, friends and pets along to check out this new park and its facilities.

Confirmed scopes so far:

- 10" newtonian
- 5" ED refractor
- 4" refractor
- 5" maksutov-newtonian
....
....

Moon will only rise at about 2:30 AM next morning. So won't "disturb" the sky during the session.

Bad weather. Gathering "officially" called off.

Since the park is relatively near my place, if the sky clears up later, I will go down with a scope and update this thread and my twitter.
