There were gaps in between flowing clouds during the last weekend. Here are some images.

The filament was especially impressive. I estimated that it's length may have been about 50 times the Earth's diameter!!

Saw that for the past 3 days too.First appeared approx 400,000km;now approx 600,000km or longer.Question is-when will it explode?It span and bridge 4 sunspots.Your photo taken today only?Fantastic stuff.Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chia,

The photos were taken on Sat and Sun. Couldn't do imaging today :(

Hope we can catch the filament breaking up :)

Hi Alfred, thank you for sharing your hard work under the sun. Kind of scary that one of the sun spot is near the center of the Sun, just hope that it don't come to the center and kaboom.

This is how the Sun looked today (7Aug 12). The long filament that we saw on 4 and 5 Aug 12 has erupted. Missed that one :(
