Equipment database

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi,

I am intereseted in the Vixen Sphinx : is there a way to "search" for "sphinx" in the member's equipment database ?
I have not found such an option.

If it does not exist, could we have a sort of spreadsheet where members can update their scopes, mounts, eyepieces, etc... something easily accessible by all members... I don't know if it is easy to set up ...

hi i got the sphinx but cause im still in NS under course i havent had any time to play around with it lately.. i havent had a chance to perfectly polar align the scope either and from the yahoo group i sometimes hear mixed opinions as to the tracking ability of the sphinx, which i guess you would be particularly interested in for photography right? another big thing of course is the absence of PEC and autoguiding (for now at least) anyway feel free to pm me if you got some specific questions..
