2012 Solar Eclipse from Canberra

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

2012 Solar Eclipse from Canberra

Post by Barry »

Wall to wall cloud, but right on cue, they parted and I got my shots from my own front yard!! WOOT!!

My solar gallery.

1. Close to about as much coverage by the moon as I was going to get this far south. Cairns, up the north coast in queensland got totality.

2. A close-up of some sunspot activity as well!

3. Gave the neighbors a bit of an opportunity.

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. Saw the diamond ring on Slooh earlier. Amazing. :)
