NexStar 6SE or NexStar 127SLT

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

The mount of the 6SE is sturdier than the SLT. It is also the same mount for the 8SE.

Perfromance-wise I cannot say as I only have the 6SE. One is a 6 inch Schimdt-Cassegrain whitle the other is a 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain. If you can spare the money, 6SE is a better bet between the two for the long term.
