Managed to image the sun this morning with my Coronado PST and Sony Nex-7 with some noob processing skills in Photoshop.

Over-processed and/or not clear enough sky conditions during capture. But good attempts for a newcomer. Way much better than my first attempts - an evenly bright ball of light.

Check out the solar images by solar experts like Alfred and Mr Chia in this forum and seek their advise in improving your solar imaging.

In the meantime, keep shooting and improving!

Thanks Gary for your comments! I made some amendments to the same image trying not to over process it. I have a habit of over processing my images sometimes. Hope it looks better than the first.
