CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
I used to watched world cup every night. tried to get some exposure of NGC7000 using a little cute damn cheap DIY 80mm Achromatic Refractor. I am learning so will takes time to get a quality optics refractor.

Added more Ha exposures. new version.

Thanks. yes, this is the one I mentioned you. My camera is small so I need low focal length to get wide field. I am looking for 80mm to 100mm focal length Lens or telescope. cam lens is too slow to imaging due to too many lens inside.
"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."

Thanks. Actually I worked for Just to get the right colour. I added more subs of ha for red. OIII and SII looks almost blank. anyone have taken from Singapore so I can judge how the image should be!
I've had very poor luck with OIII. Maybe an astrodon would do better but my 6nm Baader isn't up to it. OIII is right smack in the middle of light pollution band. I've only got consistent results with H-a.
