Finally, news from Toa Payoh..

Post by zong »

After a loooooooooooooong looooooooooooong time of not holding any obs in Toa Payoh Central, Samuel and I have decided to hold a public observation of the moon tomorrow night at Central in front of Toa Payoh Library. Please contact me or Samuel if you wanna come :) It will be around 8pm onwards, after dinner.

Yeah, it has been a really loooooong time indeed ! I can't even remember when I last brought the MN56 down for some obs !

Hope to see the regulars joining us again - you know who you are !

I just hope my back and legs won't give way while I make my way down with everything ... I haven't fully recovered from the recent Mt Kinabalu ascent/descent yet. Tell you guys more about it during the session.

Clear Skies.

Hope you all had a good session!

Didn't ob but I can see Orion out now. Sky looks sufficiently clear.

Eh Chris.. probably I didn't post clearly lol.. I was saying the obs is tonight.. But anyway, we cancelled it cos I thought the moon would rise early enough (too lazy to check online) but miscalculated.. Will reactivate Toa Payoh around next full moon then..
