Moonies?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi:
Reminded me of my slide rule-days.. Interesting gadget though... In reality after a while you can always check your lunar(chinese) calender and guess the rise time and set time of the moon.

For planning purpose( moon avoiding) in meteor work I will either use a desktop planetarium or Tungsten T3.

Hi,
I use the free Astroplanner software... :)

Anyway, CASIO do have some watches that calculate the Sunrise, SunSet time, Moon data for you, such as the moon phase, the time when the moon is highest and lowest in your location, and etc.

Example CASIO watch:

Have a nice day.
