Hi came back from the Tampines weekly session.

Eventhough today is not veri clear sky not tat transparent, I was surprised there was 5 hrs worth of observing time before dewing.
Today many singastronians were there.
There Elton with his teleport, weixing 6 inch newtonian, my 5 inch MAK, 4 inch refractor.
New members like Dan and his wife were there and Kayheem also made a short appearance with his 3 kids.
8)
Objects observed is the usual bright winter sky DSO. 8)

M42
M43
M45
M41
NGC2362
NGC1981
Cr70
Mel25

M45 and Mel25 are both too big tat it spill out of the FOV of the eyepieces.

Saturn and moon was also observed.

Darn! Missed the 10" teleport. :(

BTW, Elton, could you PM or email me the dimensions of the base on which the scope rests as well as the distance from the ground board to the centre of the azimuth axis? I need it to give me any idea on the size of a tracking platform I have in mind.

Thanks!

That's great... :)

By the way, below is a link to a picture of the planetary nebula(NGC 2438) in M46 that I spend so long looking for it, but still can't see it.... :(

Now I know where to look for it in M46, hope that can see it in next observation session.

Have a nice day.
