I have mixed feeling about this, this is the best 8" SCT I've ever had so far (I had own 5 of them), but I need additional cash to fund my 7" Newtonian project.
This C8 is in excellent condition: optically, cosmetically, and mechanically. Fastar compatible, Starbright Coatings. Front cover, 6x30 finder, 1.25" visual back, and Celestron 1.25" diagonal included. Has standard CG5/GP-type dovetail bar attached.
Looking for $1100 for all of the above. First one that says "i'll take it" through PM will get it.
cheers,
Arief

Hi,
You really want to sell??? It'll be very difficult to get another C8 in such good condition.
Anyway, really tempted... but no more extra money now and I still got my 6" Newtonian and C90 with me....
Good luck to your sale and have a nice day.

Note that this C8 is fastar-compatible. It allows CCD imaging at an incredibly fast f/1.9 focal ratio. With an optional Fastar lens assembly (not included) replacing the scope’s secondary mirror assembly (an exchange that takes only minutes) and a $499 SAC Imaging SAC7c CCD camera, the scope will record a huge 23 x 31 arc minute field – almost large enough to encompass the entire full Moon - in a single frame.
