Dempsey Session on 18 Feb 2005...Cancelled!

Hi all
Sending on behalf of Wira.
He will be conducting an obs session at the classic Dempsey site on Friday evening (18 Feb 2005). He has not revealed anything but I'm guessing 16.1" first light! Unless I am mistaken, you will be seeing the biggest scope in Singapore...0.1" bigger than the one at Science Centre...

I have to work OT ...sigh....
Anyway, I also noticed there will be 2 sessions on, so members would be spoiled for choice to choose a convenient location near their home...with Wee Kiong at Elias Road and Wira at Dempsey...heh heh

BTW, as I only log on around midnight each day, should there be any last minute changes, I'll ask weixing or chris to help make the announcement

Hi,
Please note that the first light for the 16.1 Truss Dob has been cancelled by Wira due to poor weather. He will try again on Sat....
Damn new scope curse!

Hopefully now that the curse has run its course, tomorrow will be clear...!
