Hi all
I bought this Planetarium from Toys-R-Us thinking of stirring my kids interest in astronomy.
When I assembled it , they ohhed and ahhed but that only lasted 5 min.
1 month later, its still idling on the table!

Essentially its a transparent globe with the constellations printed on it and illuminated against the ceiling by a very bright bulb. The constellations are projected on the ceiling. Definitely not your science centre laser show but I suppose if you have an inquisitive kid, this might appeal to them.

Has to attachments that is supposed to simulate shooting star and comets.
I bought it around $49 (can't recall the exact price now), selling it for $30.
