Great Weather!! (25th June)

Post by chrisyeo »

Skies look clear tonight!

Don't forget to look west in the evening to see the conjunction of the planets Saturn, Venus and Mecury!

The moon will rise after 10 pm so you have a window for a good ob before that.

I will make my way to the Changi site so all are welcome to join. Hope I can find the place though.

Cheers,
Chris

Yeah clear skies. Caught the conjuction at NTU just now. i took some pics through my scope using regular slr. Will post if they turn out ok.

Test your eyesight: what time can you spot Venus? I spotted it today at 7.07pm.

Mercury was visible a few minutes later. Saturn was a smudge through my scope.

The magnification i used was 12.5. All 3 planets can fit into a single fov.
