Stargazing sessions!!
Yeah.. I know.. but these few nights have been cloudy. On Sun I set up the scope at 8 pm. Took it down at 9 pm as clouds 'suddenly' materialized out of nowhere! *Sigh*

Hi,
The sky was quite clear last friday night... bring out my scope to have some air with debash... then my DD-1 controller go crazy and cannot track (it track east instead of west)
I'm doing some reserve engineering and troubleshooting, but without an oscilloscope, I think I had either to make one myself or get a SD-1 instead
Bad luck... too long didn't use also spoil

Have a nice day.

i'd noticed from past experience that you must keep the DD-1 really properly...the controller module should not be pressured by having it stacked or squeezed by other objects under transport or packing...if you need to replace the buttons, i have some spares. Have a Fluke for your troubleshooting if ya need. good luck!
clear skies!

Hi,
Will the button cause this problem?? Hmmm... Thinking about it, it may be possible... it'll goes east and west when I press and hold the respective button. But when I release, it start to move east and the speed it move is affected by the speed selector.
Also, I do notice that the DD-1 controller don't have a debouncing circuit. So, if the switch contact is faulty, it is possible to cause the switch to generate an on-off signal to the motor.
Thanks... will check the switch when free.
