Hi,
You can try out the University Optics Super Erfle. I consider it to be good and cheap wide-angle eyepiece. I got the 25mm 58 degree AFoV version... you can check to see how it perform on your scope, but you need to bring your scope along...
Check the UO website: http://www.universityoptics.com/125inch.htm#erf
Or you can also get the sky-watcher wide-angle eyepiece and it is cheaper than UO Super Erfle. It got 6mm, 9mm, 15mm and 20mm. You can get it from McGill: http://www.mcgill.com.sg/shop/product_i ... 166668153a
Remember, don't need to waste money to get the best Wide Angle eyepiece out there at the moment... just get one that is enough to bring out the best of your scope.
Have a nice day.

Hi, how do you pronounce your name and it doesn't look like tagalog...
if you are looking at astrobargain for a good-value wide-field 1.25" eyepiece, maybe you can also consider the gso superview 20mm which gives you 45x and 67 deg apparent field of view. I have not tried that but i have tried the gso superview 30mm (2-inch) and i think it is good for that value.

rlow, haha, you ole timer lah. Her name reads 'quixsilver'. ;)
qs, what are the eyepieces you currently have? I find that cheap plossls are the way to go for beginners like us. You can choose to get better eps later one. Some Singastro members might have old eyepieces lying around. (I have a 26mm ep), so just ask around.
Cheers,
Chris

nwayz i only hav the standard eyepieces that came with the scope... a 4mm and 20mm.. and a 3x barlow.. which in my opinion is completely useless unless the air is incredibly still!!
and so i ask.. anyone out there with a neglected eyepiece looking for a new home?? ahehe
