Obs on Ubin, Friday the 13th

Obs on Ubin, Friday the 13th

NTU astro is organising an overnight obs on Ubin next friday, 13th Jan.. anyone interested to join in? details as follows:

On Noordin Beach, Pulau Ubin
Bring:$2 for ferry rideJacketsInsect RepellantUmbrellaPersonal ID
Please meet us at Tanah Merah MRT Station at 8p.m. We will be travelling to Changi Point Jetty by buses 2 or 29.Non-members and friends are all invited to this chilly night. Latecomers might be consumed by the
undergrowth...

ooohh...Friday the 13th....heh heh
don't forget to finally take some astrophotos with your astro set up..looking forward to seeing photos taken on an equatorial tracking mount...

on the dual fork mount goto, it was useless as the tracking was not accurate enough...

hey richard,
whose astro setup you referring to? i don't have an equatorial tracking mount :P if it's a new setup around here, i hope we don't get the new equip curse man, esp on fri the 13th... hehe

Ermm.. taking photos in the dark during Friday 13th? Who knows what else you may capture in the photo? :-P

Hi every1,

Yep, NTUAS is organising a small observation event at Pulau Ubin this Friday 13th.

We will be charging a small fee for participants which will include to n fro ferry, basic food n snacks.

We will keep you informed about any new developments regarding the weather and all. I just hope it stops raining so continuously. haha..
