USB 2.0 port or firewire in astronomy mount???

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

hm...just wondering when'll astro company who make mounts introduce USB 2.0 port or firewire onto their mount. coz realise most of them use 32pin or RJ45. maybe can revolutionize these mount. hahaha

I think they use the RJ45 connector for the RS-232 protocol due to low data rate and low cost.

The CCD devices should have USB 2.0.

hi Jingguo,
how's scope usage lately? yess CCD devices uses USB2.0 but directly connects the PC to the CCD camera. For autoguiding however, the RJ45 connection is still utilised from mounts like Losmandy to the CCD camera for motor interaction.
