Test Market - Manfrotto 410 head - SOLD

Post by Airconvent »

Hi
Still thinking if I should go for a ball head tripod. Alot of "no-no" from the experts ...anyway, would anyone be interested in buying a 410 head for $160? Do let me know. I hope to sell by this week, else will abort the sale.
thanks

Sorry for my off-topic comment :) If you need the ease of quick panning, I think Arief's microstar will fit your need. If you need a portable mount with slow motion, Vixen portamount is not bad.

Hi Anat,
I have a very small 60mm refractor, so it would defeat the purpose to get a very large and expensive mount if I am sacrificing aperture for portability but I am looking at them to see how well they perform.
The ball joint idea was just an idea. some of you have already explained to me why they will not be good..thanks!
So as not to be off topic, we can take this discussion further in the equipment forum if you want to talk about this further...
cheers
