Aperture fever
Aperture fever
I am a new start up. The current or rather the only scope that I own is a 4 inch refractor. I have seen good review about C 9.25 from many sources but yet to have a chance to peek through its eyepiece. Yes as the old saying goes, I my have caught the apeture fever. Any one knows where I can purchase one; or any better equivalent of about the same budget range?
you can try asking Joo Beng who might be able to bring one in for you or already has one to show you...or just visit www.astrobargains.com

Of all the scopes that I have, I love my C9.25 the most. Am always very willing to share the views through it to help you make up your mind ! (If only the d**n sky would clear up !!) Good to be sure before you buy ;) Can always arrange an ob session somewhere, or even go to Mersing ?!weixing wrote:Hi,Or may be you can pester him until he sell you his... ha ha hayou can try asking Joo Beng who might be able to bring one in for you or already has one to show you...or just visit www.astrobargains.com![]()

I only had five C8 only, i think the record was broken long time ago.You got another C8??? Want to break Ariefm record of owning the most C8 in Singapore... hee hee
Have a nice day.
Btw, c9.25 is definitely not a grab and go scope, make sure you have a decent mount for it.
For more portable solution, also consider a C8. Or if you want to have portability as well as the same level of contrast of your refractor, you should try a russian maksutovs like Intes Micro M603 or M703 Mak-Cass.
Arief, why do u want so many C8? You own them all at the same time?ariefm71 wrote:I only had five C8 only, i think the record was broken long time ago.You got another C8??? Want to break Ariefm record of owning the most C8 in Singapore... hee hee
