Aperture fever

Post by cataclysm »

I am a new start up. The current or rather the only scope that I own is a 4 inch refractor. I have seen good review about C 9.25 from many sources but yet to have a chance to peek through its eyepiece. Yes as the old saying goes, I my have caught the apeture fever. Any one knows where I can purchase one; or any better equivalent of about the same budget range?

Of all the scopes that I have, I love my C9.25 the most. Am always very willing to share the views through it to help you make up your mind ! (If only the d**n sky would clear up !!) Good to be sure before you buy ;) Can always arrange an ob session somewhere, or even go to Mersing ?!

Best regards !
Joo Beng.

I only had five C8 only, i think the record was broken long time ago.
Btw, c9.25 is definitely not a grab and go scope, make sure you have a decent mount for it.

For more portable solution, also consider a C8. Or if you want to have portability as well as the same level of contrast of your refractor, you should try a russian maksutovs like Intes Micro M603 or M703 Mak-Cass.
