MAN I'M PROUD OF MYSELF! finally .... after 16 years and 2 weeks... i saw my very first meteor! yeah. the thing was exactly like what you all said! WONDERFUL. it just ZIPPED over a star... can't really recgonise that star , except that before seeing the metoer, i saw a smaller glowing celestial object right beside it. which funnily enough , disappeared after the meteor passed.. its just too bad it didn't rain meteor ...

Hmm... In that case, you didn't see it pass the double star, Gamma Delphinus. The constellatuion Delphinus will only rise at around 9am and will set around 8pm during Jan 2006.5.18 am ^-^ was like.. staring at the sky when one just zipped past.
Have a nice day.

Hi folks:
Congrat... yes... if you look long or often enough you will see some..
Jan 14 4am + is my first bright meteor for 2006 mag -2 or 03- still fallshort of calling it a fireball yet..
Buzy lately hv not find time to upload it yet.. There are many fast meteors in the early am .. leaving behind streaks on peak hold image...
sky was bad but the brief burnout get caught clearly in the video system..
