TEC 140 APO

Has anyone experienced the TEC 140 APO? Not exactly an affordable scope, but for the aperture it seems good value as compare to Takahashi and TMB.

well it has very desirable vital statistics; 140 mm oil spaced triplet obj, 9 kg ota, PV 1/20, Strehl 0.99. If its as good as claimed. Very tempting!

A premium 10" - 12.5" newt with a zambuto mirror will have a pv of 1/30 to 1/40 for about the same price. just for your consideration.

I go for the newt anytime.

Maybe I am a reflector guy..that's why.

After having own reflector, SCT, MCT, refractor, over and over again....I am sold to reflectors.
