Mersing Trip on CNY

This is just a notice that canopus lim, elton, rlow, and myself will be going to mersing on the 30th Jan for one night observation. Anyone with own transportation that interested to join us are welcomed (sorry, no more space in our car). Meet at Lavender MRT 2pm.

Yes, it will be great if someone else can drive there, even if the driver has no scope, then Chris Yeo and the Teleport 10 can join us.

Yes, Elton would like to bring the T10... of course I would also prefer if the T10 can join us, (even at the expense that I also don't bring a scope if space is that insufficient!), but this is only IF we can squeeze that T10 between 2 persons at the rear seats (or another car comes along). Lets hear from Canopus if his car can accomodate that.

Good news! Canopus says his car can accomodate 4 scopes: 80mm APO, 125mm SCT, 180mm Mewlon, 250mm Teleport, a good variety of scopes!

Apart from Chris Yeo, there are two other interested parties, all three can drive but no car.... anyone else with a car?

i thought have to clean house, make last minute purchases, etc.

I'll bring the M603 this time since it's never been to Mersing before. There'll be plenty of time for the Mew in the future.

yes, need to remove that green cover on the back first. i'll bring the a-slew mount. will also bring my "new" Pano 22mm and Astronomik UHC filter.
