Great shot,
you must have put a multiplier on the original image which make it look pixelated, will also look better with a higher contrast...
but its good effort. you used toucam pro?

Yes! Remus suggested I resample the image @ 2x - hence the pixelated quality. This is the non-resampled image:

I also wish that i had a toucam pro....
My acuter cmos camera does not have such good raw image resolution.

Glad I showed up the other night! Thanks for showing (as well as explaining) me and my friends how astro-imaging was done. Too bad I missed part of your "lesson". Perhaps you can show us again next time.

hi Tachyon,
You can try playing around with the level 4-6 sliders on wavelets processing processing on the resampled image. My tip on advicing you on resampling was due to good seeing that night. You could try a very slight gaussian blur in PS for the final image to give it a 'natural' look afterwards. Stack more...around 2000, and then choose best 1500.
