15" Dob

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

15" Dob

Post by ariefm71 »

For those looking for a 15" dob, this is quite a good deal especially when dobdriver tracking and skycommander dsc is included as well: http://www.astromart.com/classifieds/de ... _id=428667

Hmm... I wonder who that might be?

The only one I can think of who may consider to fly to Texas to collect this scope would be Elton... but this scope may be really too heavy to bring back.

Nicely deflected, Mr Low...
Btw, did you pick the f4.5 or f5?

it's interesting to see how the Dob Race Revolution is taking place here in our community...starting from CC's 8-inch Portaball, then Elton's Teleport, and then CC's 12.5-inch Portaball, Canopus's Obsession 12.5, then now 15-inch.....how about 30 inch guys? Come on get the real stuff! Then you can see HII regions in detail in M51.....

okok....i'll stay out of this...

Remus, how come I can't see the HII regions in my 30" Obsession? Is it because of the full moon? :?:

Nice try, Mr Fong. You are quite a Taichi master! :D Probably you would then have set your sights on a higher level...

But I certainly have no intention to drop by Texas to buy that, f/4.5 or not.
