Rare Clear Skies

Post by geyes30 »

Hey!

It's a rare clear night. If you haven't looked out the window today, you might want to consider taking your telescope out for some observations. :) With my naked eyes I was able to spot Antares, Jupiter and no less than 20 stars (unfortunately only a small portion of the sky was not interrupted by bright lights). This is one of those days that I wished I had a big scope! :S

Hello!

I stay in Woodlands. I can't really see the sky now that I am back home (HDB design really needs to improve!). It was nice, windy and clear just now. :)

Hi there,

Last night seems a bit better, I had a small window of hazy but still OK sky to go dowstairs(8.45pm) and obb for a while.

Managed to hunt and spot either M8 or M20 in Sagittarius. Don't know which one was it, but will look up in the web to see how both looks like and then identify them in my next obbing. At about 10pm the clouds came rolling in!!! Yap, one moment clear and the next.....clouds.

Cheers
