Good night out!

Post by jermng »

Did anyone notice how clear it was last night after 1230mn? :)

Wasn't terrific but the clouds had gone and the only distraction was the moon which was already in the west and slightly twinkling stars.

Setup my 80mm and stayed in the Orion, Gemini, Taurus area for quite sometime before turning my back and ending my night viewing the moon. :) Wanted to wait for Canis Major but it took too long .. :)

Been a long time since the skies were so clear in Spore. I think we can start getting back to business. :) My C8 can start getting warmed up ... :)

P.S. Tachyon, Weixing, I think your observations are almost right from a previous thread. Clear nights mostly fall on Wed/Thur nights. :)

Looks like TSN (wxg) and CSN (acc?) can start to work now.

Yes last night at 12 plus was clear apart from the big moon which brightened half of the sky. Orion, Taurus, Gemini were all very visible. I was too tired to look at those objects then. That's the problem with clear weathers.. either falls on wed/thur or falls on a big moon or wed/thur plus big moon. :(

HAHA ... I was thinking if I should bring my scope down too ... was super tired when I got home at 1230 .. but then I thought, if I don;t bring it out now, I don;t know when it'll be clear again ... :)
