My lousy attempt at saturn from last night:

(ETX90, 3xbarlow, creative webcam, registax)
but it's interesting to see how the perspective of the ring has changed over the past 2 years..

To me, this is a good attempt already.
Maybe it is the webcam + the high power barlow you are using that forms a not so desirable image you were expecting?
Didn't you have a Toucam Pro when you took one of your photos last year? I thought it produces better images than a Creative webcam?

Wee Nghee the Pooh
Haha,, I'm quite happy with the result already..
It's not the webcam. The webcam is good; it's just the limit that my 90mm telescope can go. I wasn't expecting any better image.
I've only ever had a creative webcam. There was once that I took an image of Jupiter with a Toucam but that was Lee's at the observatory.
Perhaps someone would like to lend me a Toucam to see the difference on my etx90? ;)
Boothee, The image was a stack of 300 frames.
Cheers,
Chris
