Won't Saturn be quite low at the 'convenient' time for the public? At 10pm it is about 40 degree above horizon.

I will not be able to make it as I am overseas. Perhaps I get a chance to look through a Zeiss 12inch refractor at an observatory there. Heard that the queue to look through it is very long.

eh, stay on the topic.

10th feb is a nice weekend. just b4 the valentine day. i bet alot of people will be more impressed by saturn than mars. given the short notice and unpredictable weather, hard to confirm anything now. will help ask ard and see how things goes.

tentatively, one of our option would be tiong bahru park as suggested by acc.

if anyone can get us another location, do post here. since time is short, stick to those locations that u confirm can get, not throw me 5634757856 suggestion for places u can't get.

Open field near the Red Hill MRT is more ideal. Just a stone throw from Tiong Bahru Park.

For these places, perhaps someone can check if the Eastern sky is visible from at least 40 degrees upwards and not block by trees.
